How does DiolazeXL work ?
The DiolazeXL applicator is applied to the area with unwanted hair and emits a beam of concentrated light. This light will focus on the unwanted hair follicles. The treatment is based on the principles of selective photothermolisys. The light penetrates the skin and is selectively absorbed by melanin from the hair shaft. The absorbed energy is converted into heat, which destroys the hair follicles. Multiple treatments are required for best results. white/gray hair is resistant to the treatment due to the pigmentation in the hair shaft.

The treatment:
• The skin is smeared with gel for better contact with the applicator
• The treatment lasts between 10 and 30 minutes, depending on the size of the area to be treated.
Before the treatment:
- Stop waxing, epilating or using depilatory cream at least six weeks before your appointment
- Shave the day before your treatment
- Remove make-up or cream/oils
- Avoid sunbathing prior to your appointment
- Stop 2 weeks before your retinoid treatment in consultation with your doctor.
Aftercare:
- Sunblock should be used for 3 weeks after treatment
- After the treatment, a moisturizing cream can be applied
- Make-up can be applied immediately after the treatment
- Avoid direct sun exposure
- Avoid exfoliation for 2 weeks after treatment
- Avoid hot pools/pools/jacuzzis and saunas for 2 days
POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS
